Terms and conditions of the Wildpark Lüneburger Heide
1. Entrance tickets
The tickets must be carried during the stay in the Wildpark Lüneburger Heide and presented on request. The season ticket entitles the holder to enter the game park during the general opening hours for the period indicated on the season ticket. Season tickets are not transferable to other persons. In case of cancellation of pre-ordered tickets and / or services of our restaurant or other services of the game park, the Wildpark Lüneburger Heide is entitled to demand cancellation costs of a reasonable amount.
The use of our parking lot, the area of which we have marked on the signage for the car park entrance in color for you, is free of charge. The parking lot is part of the private grounds of the Lüneburg Heath Game Park and is only available to visitors to the wildlife park. For its use, the rules of the Highway Code (StVO) apply. The Wildpark Lüneburger Heide is not liable for damages incurred and caused there of any kind.
3. General safety regulations
The carrying of weapons (pistols, knives, chains, punch rings, etc.) is not permitted on the grounds of the game park Lüneburg Heath. Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be denied entry to the park or may be evicted from the premises. We also reserve the right to prohibit the use of other vehicles which, due to their size, may be a disruption to other visitors. Driving on the wildlife park area with manual or electric wheelchairs, strollers u. Ä. happens at your own risk. The signage in the game park is to be followed.
5. Dealing with the animals of the game park Lüneburger Heide
The feeding of the animals in the Wildpark Lüneburger Heide is permitted only in the separately designated enclosures with the feed provided by the game park. The feeding of other substances and plants, including those that grow on the site, can lead to serious diseases and even death of the animals and is therefore expressly prohibited. The Wildpark Lüneburger Heide reserves the right to make compensation for persons who violate the feeding ban, to expel the park and to exclude them from visiting the park in the future.
Even harmless-looking animals can cause painful and dangerous puncture, biting, tearing and scratching injuries. From the enclosures of the aforementioned species is therefore a sufficient distance to keep. In particular, the touching of the grid is prohibited. The birds participating in the show are – like all birds – wild and unpredictable animals. It can not be ruled out that a bird will suddenly make attacks on visitors. Visitors to the air show will be made aware of this danger. Liability of the Wildpark Lüneburger Heide is excluded in the aforementioned cases.
6. Safety barriers
The visitor routes and the areas explicitly accessible to visitors must not be left. Climbing or exceeding the safety barriers is prohibited.
7. Taking animals
In the game park it is allowed to carry dogs.
8. Use of the facilities of the game park Lüneburger Heide
We ask that you follow the instructions for use, operating instructions and instructions of the game park staff for your own safety and in the interest of a smooth operation. If such instructions or instructions are not followed, our staff may exclude visitors from using the facilities or refer them to the wildlife park grounds. Visitors are liable for all damages resulting from infringements or other improper use as well as non-observance of the user instructions or instructions. When using the playground and its playground equipment and when visiting the air show, the petting zoo and similar facilities, age restrictions and instructions for use and / or behavior must be observed. For any damage caused by infringement or otherwise improper use, the Wildpark Lüneburg Heath assumes no liability.
9. Supervisory duty
Basically, children up to the age of 12 years should enjoy the stay in our game park only when accompanied by an adult. In this context, it is expressly pointed out to the dangers for children by sometimes life-threatening animals and plants. Accompanying children have to fulfill their duty of care carefully. Supervisors and parents are responsible within the legal framework for all damage caused by the supervised persons. Liability of the Wildpark Lüneburger Heide is excluded in the aforementioned cases.
10. Scope of services
With regard to our animals and other important reasons, such. B. weather conditions, necessary maintenance and construction work, etc., we ask for your understanding that with the purchase of the ticket is not entitled to certain benefits, such as the presentation of certain animals or the use of all facilities and attractions of the game park at any time.
11. Claim and loss
All areas in the game park are maintained and monitored with the utmost care. If you or any of your family members are still at risk, we kindly ask you to report this claim to the cashier before you leave the game park. Please understand that claims for damages are excluded if a possible and reasonable report of damage or other incident occurs only after leaving the game park. If you discover foreign objects (lost property) in the game park, we ask you to hand them over to the cashier too. Please also inquire if you have lost something yourself.
12. Advertising and offering goods and services
Advertisements on the wildlife park grounds, including the areas in front of the entrance and the parking lot, as well as the offering of goods and services, are only permitted with the prior written consent of the management of the Wildpark Lüneburger Heide. This also applies to the conduct of opinion polls and counts.
13. Photographing and filming
Photographing and filming for commercial purposes also requires our prior written consent.
